03 Feb Building Better Bodies
This year I made a decision to challenge myself and others for 30 days to do better. When I say do better, I mean change something around in life in order make better decisions or improve the quality of life. Each day for the month of January I provided a motivational quote of the day. Some quotes did not necessarily apply to fitness but to everyday life and different circumstances.
It takes 21 days for a new habit to be developed into your regular routine. I can attest to that as I have tried several times to change things in my life. One major change that I decided to make was to improve on my time management skills. Being a mother, fraud analyst, exercise instructor, business partner, and wife; I sometimes find it hard for some other important things in life. Me time is important. Time alone with myself helps me regain focus with all the major priorities in life and also allows me to meditate.
What happens when you start changing your habits? Life starts to look different and people will notice. Change is always good in my book. I am eager to see what habits I will change for the rest of 2016. I encourage friends and family to accept this challenge on building better habits as this may help improve your life as a whole.
A couple things to remember when building better habits, practice daily, make a commitment, make it easy, and embrace the process!
